SGK HDPE Spiral Pipes for Sewer and Drainage Systems

SGK HDPE Spiral Pipes are manufactured using advanced spiral winding technology to provide a high-performance solution for non-pressurised underground sewerage and drainage networks. Designed to combine exceptional structural strength with excellent hydraulic performance, these large-diameter pipes are suitable for a wide range of civil engineering and infrastructure applications.

In addition to gravity sewerage and drainage systems, SGK pipes are ideal for culverts, road and railway crossings, siphons, low-pressure pipeline networks, inspection chambers, water storage tanks and wastewater treatment structures.

Each pipe features a smooth internal bore to maximise flow efficiency, while the external surface may be smooth or profiled, depending on the required ring stiffness. Pipes are supplied with an integrated socket and spigot for electrofusion jointing or, alternatively, with grooves for gasketed joint systems.

The range is available in nominal internal diameters (DN/ID) from 800 mm to 2500 mm.

Ring Stiffness Options

SGK pipes are available in a range of structural stiffness classes to suit varying installation conditions and loading requirements.

EN 13476 Classification             DIN 16961 Classification
SN2 (2 kN/m²) Class 3 (SR24 – 8 kN/m²)
SN4 (4 kN/m²) Class 4 (SR24 – 16 kN/m²)
SN8 (8 kN/m²) Class 5 (SR24 – 31.5 kN/m²)
SN16 (16 kN/m²) Class 7 (SR24 – 125 kN/m²)

Please note that the EN 13476 and DIN 16961 stiffness classifications are based on different test methods and should not be considered directly equivalent.
