PEX-AL-PEX Multilayer Pipes for Water Systems

PEX-AL-PEX Multilayer Pipes are premium composite pipes designed for hot and cold water distribution systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Combining the flexibility of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX-b) with the dimensional stability of an aluminium core, they provide a durable, corrosion-resistant and easy-to-install solution for modern plumbing and heating applications.

The pipe features smooth white inner and outer layers manufactured from PEX-b (silane cross-linked polyethylene), permanently bonded to a central aluminium layer using specialised adhesives. The aluminium core acts as an effective oxygen and UV barrier, while significantly reducing thermal expansion compared to conventional plastic pipes.

Description

Available in outside diameters from 14 mm to 63 mm, the pipes are supplied in coils or straight lengths, with optional thermal insulation sheaths available in blue, red or white to suit a range of installation requirements.

Suitable for PN10 pressure systems, the pipes are designed to carry water at temperatures up to 95°C, with a maximum short-term operating temperature of 110°C.

Features & Benefits
