Description
The multiduct bundle is available in neutral colours or, on request, in fully coloured configurations with optional co-extruded identification stripes to meet customer or network operator specifications.
Available microduct outside diameters include 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20 mm. Bundles are supplied in coils wound onto wooden reels, with reel-free options available upon request.
For enhanced performance in demanding installations, the microducts can also be supplied with:
- Low-friction silicone-coated internal surfaces for improved cable blowing performance.
- Anti-rodent additive for additional protection in areas vulnerable to rodent damage.
Features & Benefits
- Designed for Fibre Optic Networks
Ideal for underground telecommunications infrastructure where multiple fibre optic cables are required within a single duct system. - Integrated Multiduct Configuration
Multiple microducts are securely enclosed within a durable HDPE outer sheath, simplifying installation and future network expansion. - Low-Friction Cable Installation
Internal axial ribs reduce cable contact, improving cable blowing and pulling performance while minimising installation forces. - Optional Silicone Inner Coating
Available with a low-friction silicone lining to further enhance air-blown fibre installation performance. - Optional Rodent Protection
Anti-rodent additives provide additional protection for underground telecommunications infrastructure in high-risk environments. - Permanent Watertight Performance
Designed to provide long-term protection against water ingress, safeguarding fibre optic infrastructure. - Excellent Flexibility
Superior bending characteristics allow the duct bundle to follow complex installation routes with ease. - Outstanding Surface Finish
Smooth internal and external surfaces support efficient installation while helping to protect cables from damage. - UV-Resistant Options
Coloured versions provide enhanced resistance to ultraviolet exposure during storage and installation. - Customisable Construction
Available in a range of wall thicknesses and colour configurations to meet specific project and network operator requirements. - Suitable for Challenging Ground Conditions
HDPE construction accommodates ground movement while maintaining long-term duct integrity. - Electrically Non-Conductive
Inert to stray electrical currents, eliminating corrosion risks associated with metallic conduit systems. - Excellent Chemical Resistance
Resistant to aggressive soils and chemicals in accordance with ISO/TR 10358, ensuring long-term underground durability. - High Impact Resistance
Excellent shock absorption protects the duct bundle during transportation, installation and operation. - Fully Recyclable
Manufactured from recyclable HDPE, supporting sustainable telecommunications infrastructure and environmental best practice.
