Part of our high-performance range of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) twinwall pipes, MetroDrain LC has been specifically engineered to support our commitment to a more sustainable future.
Designed for all non-pressure surface and sub-surface drainage applications, MetroDrain LC is manufactured entirely from recycled and recyclable polymer. This innovation reduces the pipe’s embodied carbon by nearly half compared to the standard MetroDrain product, where only the outer wall utilises recycled material.
Fully Compatible with the MetroDrain Range
MetroDrain LC is fully compatible with all MetroDrain fittings and accessories and can be incorporated into a complete fabricated drainage system, providing an end-to-end solution. Our specialist fabrication team can support the design and manufacture of bespoke systems, including catchpits, manholes, fittings and flow control chambers.
Reduced Carbon Without Compromising Performance
MetroDrain LC is lightweight—up to 6% of the weight of traditional concrete alternatives—making it easier to transport, handle and install. A smooth internal bore ensures excellent hydraulic performance, while the corrugated external wall provides enhanced strength and durability.
The system offers outstanding resistance to ground settlement, impact and abrasion, with no reduction in stiffness, jetting resistance or joint performance. Rigorously tested and meticulously manufactured, MetroDrain LC delivers reliable performance across a wide range of drainage applications.
