Microducts for Fibre Optic Cable Installation

Microducts are high-performance high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conduits designed for the installation of fibre optic cables in underground telecommunications networks. Manufactured with a smooth external surface and a specially engineered low-friction internal profile featuring axial ribs, the ducts minimise cable installation friction, making them ideal for air-blown fibre and conventional cable installation methods.

The range is available in standard neutral colours or, on request, fully coloured with or without co-extruded identification stripes to meet customer or network operator specifications.

Available outside diameters include 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20 and 25 mm. Microducts are supplied in coils wound onto wooden reels and delivered on pallets containing four coils, providing efficient transportation and site handling.
